The Pioneer School Private middle school that fosters social-emotional intelligence & unique learning opportunities.

The Pioneer School is a non-profit, non-sectarian, private middle school that supports academic excellence using Florida Virtual School, The Institute for Excellence in Writing, and the Big History Project. We prepare students for high school success and help them develop social & emotional intelligence. We also facilitate rich, relevant, and engaging afternoon courses such as Spanish, Drama, 4-H, Life 101, Odyssey of the Mind, art, ASL, music, handwork, Brain Hour, archery, Creative Solutions, and Human Skills. Families seek us out for the personal attention we give each student, our culture of kindness, respect, and inclusion, and for a gentler, more nurturing transition between elementary and high school.
