United Way of St. Johns and Putnam Counties is offering grant funding to support programs that promote student mental health and well-being in St. Johns and Putnam Counties.

The Student Mental Health Grant Fund provides financial support to nonprofit organizations that improve student mental health and well-being in St. Johns and Putnam Counties. Funding supports efforts to reduce stigma, promote su***de prevention, increase awareness of depression and anxiety, provide therapeutic care, and help parents and caregivers access resources during a mental health crisis. This grant opportunity is made possible through the generous support of the Delores Barr Weaver Legacy Funds.

We were proud to partner with Keller Williams Realty Atlantic Partners St. Augustine for their Annual Day of Giving Back, Red Day, on May 14. ❤ Thank you for spending time volunteering with our partner, Homeless Coalition of St. Johns County. The Homeless Coalition provides housing and programs to assist the most chronically homeless families with children in St. Johns County, helping them get off the streets and on the road to self-sufficiency.

25 tons of donations collected right here in our community for Stamp Out Hunger, the nation’s largest one-day food drive! 💙

From generous neighbors filling bags with food to our incredible volunteers sorting donations in the rain 🌧️, this community showed up in a big way. Because of you, local families and individuals facing food insecurity will have support when they need it most.

Our VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program was a major success this tax season! Thanks to our incredible volunteers and partners, we provided free, reliable tax preparation to individuals and families across our community — returning over $1.8 Million in refunds and savings and helping 1,647 households file with confidence. 💰✨

We were proud to offer services at 6 locations across Putnam and St. Johns Counties, increasing access and impact where it’s needed most.

We had a wonderful time at our most recent PACT Meeting, where Kari Bates, CEO & President of The Arc Jacksonville, joined us for an engaging discussion on strategic planning and leadership. We were also graciously hosted by the Putnam County Chamber of Commerce.

PACT, Partners Advancing Community Together, reflects the strength, diversity, and collaborative spirit of the incredible nonprofit leaders we’re proud to call our community partners.
