If you live in Duval County, Florida, you have colonial history and outdoor activities right in your own backyard!

Pictured is Round Marsh off of the Willie Brown trail, just one stellar example of the roughly 46,000 acres of salt marsh protected by the preserve.

Timucuan Preserve offers two visitor centers, roughly 15 miles of hiking trails, and 10,000 years of human history! Stop by this summer for a lovely Jacksonville stay-cation!
