To All from Bobby: UPDATE:

First, we had great meeting and fun at last weeks meeting. Thanks to all, especially Marilyn and Charlotte for food, and JoAnn for great cake celebrating 3 more birthdays!
UPDATE:
If you are not aware, Gene Povia had to go back into hospital for additional blood clots and treatment. Still in ICU. Brenda is hoping he will go home first of week. He is tired and weak and needs lots of rest. Gene is still pointing toward joining us at 70th Birthday. Your thoughts and prayers will help him to be able to get there. We sure hope so!!

Lillian endured 8.5 hours of surgery on Thursday, which doctors described as several surgeries in one. Greg indicates she is resting well,and actually ate breakfast this morning. She was also sitting up. He said she is very demanding but I'm sure that's just Greg.

Our prayers go out to both Gene and Lillian for a quick recovery!!

Oysters and fish are ordered. Marilyn had the side orders in sight. We know JoAnn will have chowder simmering. Dennis and committee will have drinks for all on Saturday. The decorations group will meet at 930AM on Saturday at the Boating Club. Don has the DJ set up and is making badges.

We expect 90 plus attendees! The advanced forecast is Cloudy, 80 degrees in afternoon, cooling down to 54 degrees late that night. Sounds like perfect weather!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Please let me know if we are missing anything. See everyone Saturday for the perfect party!

Reminder - Meeting this coming Tuesday February 7, 630PM at Greg's.

We will:

Review list of count/attendees
Get report from those that visited Boating Club
Arrange to get songs suggested to Don Buck
DJ times/where to set up
Count for those eating Oysters
Pay need for Kyles - check or cash?
Review decorations committee needs
Meet at Boating Club to set up - time?
Dennis Steed's committee
Dennis - Bartender
Plates/bowls/etc purchase planned
Trash bags/ketchup/tartar/datil sauce
Desk for badges/pay at door

Agree on times:
Begin 530pm
Oysters begin at 545PM
Fish ready at 7PM
Chowder ready at ____
Cake - Charlotte

Other items??

Marilyn N and Charlotte are arranging food. Please let me know if you will attend so we get a pretty good count.

William Dean "Bill" Carling, 69, St. Augustine, died January 11, 2017 at his home. He was born in Easton, PA and had resided in St. Augustine most of his life. He was retired from Florida State College at Jacksonville where he served in the grounds maintenance department. He was a very dedicated worker and he received numerous awards for his skills. He was also a very devout Jehovah's Witness.
Private services are planned.
He is survived by two sisters, Margaret Gibson, Irene Mirabal (George); and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
St. Johns Family Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
