The majority of the current faculty members hold at least one masters degree and have taught for more than 15 years. On the feast day of St. Teresa of Calcutta, we’re reminded that love is often found in the smallest moments.

A parent walking a child to the school door. A community member helping students arrive safely. A warm welcome from a teacher or staff member. A priest taking time to sit down and share a story with children.

These may seem like little things, but together they create a community where children know they are seen, welcomed, cared for, and loved.

As we look back on our first week of school, may St. Teresa’s example inspire all of us to find opportunities to do the small things with great love. 💚🙏

Our 5th graders kicked off the year with a STEM challenge: build the tallest tower possible using only index cards—no cutting, tape, or glue allowed!

It wasn’t easy at first. But as students started sharing ideas, experimenting, and working together, frustration turned into creativity and a whole lot of fun. The results were pretty impressive, too! 🙌

It’s a great example of learning at St. Charles: think creatively, work together, keep trying, and discover what you can accomplish!

Our teachers and staff have been hard at work preparing welcoming spaces where students can learn, grow in faith, build friendships, and make plenty of new memories.

Our parish and school staff had a wonderful day of Mass, reflection, prayer, and restoration at Dunrovin Retreats this week where we discussed the message of hope and encouragement for families presented in Archbishop Hebda's pastoral letter, "Only One Thing Is Necessary."

🌟 Kinder Kamp 2026! 🌟

Our newest Chargers got a sneak peek at kindergarten this week! Kinder Kamp gave our incoming kindergarteners a chance to meet their teachers and classmates, explore their classroom, tour the school, and begin feeling right at home at St. Charles.

The day was filled with stories, songs, crafts, recess, and plenty of time to learn and play together. Our students even visited the church as they began discovering what makes being part of a Catholic school community so special.

Just look at those smiles! We can't wait to welcome these new Chargers back for the start of an exciting kindergarten year. 📚✏️🍎
