In-person classes are canceled and district and school offices are closed on Tuesday, Jan. 27, in the Pattonville School District due to unsafe road conditions in parts of the district. Tuesday will be a virtual learning inclement weather day for students.
During a virtual learning day, students take part in independent learning activities at home with online teacher support. Assignments/activities will be posted on a student’s learning platform (Canvas, Empower or Seesaw) and/or Bloomz within one hour of the start of the school day. Teachers will be available on students' learning platforms and via email or Zoom during school hours to provide support.
Staff will work from home unless other arrangements are made with their supervisors. Custodians and maintenance staff should report to work as instructed by their supervisor.
As an awareness for family schedules, Tuesday's virtual learning day will not need to be made up in the future.
