Our last book club of the year was fin-tastic! What a great year of creating this book loving community with our students. Thank you to Mrs. Dye for hosting with Mrs. Dertinger each month! A special shout out to Mrs. Klein and Mrs. Cook for supporting the Book Club when Mrs. Dertinger was out on maternity leave too.

Here’s to a great summer full of amazing books! We are almost there. 🪼 🌊 🧇

We had 17 students invited to our Mark Twain Reader Celebration Party this year! These students read at least 4 of the Mark Twains and took a short quiz on each by the start of May. We are so proud of them! Each student got a special certificate, a goodie bag of bookish swag, and a copy of one title on next year’s Mark Twain list to get a head start. These students are amazing book dragons! Congrats.

It’s time to celebrate! You did it, Dragons! Yet again, our spring book fair with VIP Breakfasts was a huge success. Our total sales was $13,208! We get 50% of that back in profit, which means we get to add fresh new titles to our library, more funding for future programming, and more!
