💙 Thank You for a Great First Day! 💙

Thank you, families, for helping us make our first day a great one! We wanted to share a few important reminders to help our mornings and afternoons run smoothly and, most importantly, keep our students safe. 🏫❤️

🌅 Arrival

• Arrival time is 6:45–7:15 AM.
• The tardy bell rings at 7:15 AM.
• Please follow the drop-off line around the building.
• Please do not park in the main parking lot and walk your child to the front doors or to the drop-off gate out back. This is to ensure everyone's safety, as we do not have supervision in the parking lot.
• We encourage students to wait for a staff member to open the door for them to help ensure everyone’s safety.
• If you must park, please park along the fence.
• Please wait for the crossing guard before allowing your student to cross Winfield road.

🌟 Dismissal

• Dismissal begins at 2:00 PM.
• Kindergarten and Pre-K students who are being picked up will be picked up/signed out at their **outside classroom door **please park along the fence of the drop of line or the parking lot by the kindergarten rooms.
• 1st & 2nd grade students will be signed out at the front door by the flagpole.
• 3rd–5th grade students will be picked up outside the cafeteria door.
• If your child has a dismissal change, please call the school before 1:30 PM so we have time to make the necessary arrangements.

Thank you so much to First Baptist Church of St. Albans Backpack Ministry! Thank you to Debbie DeHart, Marty and Brian Reynolds, Becky Cottle, and Eddie & Joann Carter for coming to set up an amazingly delicious spread of goodies and gift bags for the Anne Bailey Elementary Staff. We truly appreciate all you do for our school.

Thank you to Mrs. LeaAnn for being the best secretary and keeping everything running in the office and school. Also, Thanks to Mr. Somerville (he isn't a fan of photos) for working and getting things ready for all staff to fully return today. We truly appreciate all the work you all have put in for the 2026-2027 school year.
