We would to share information about Operation Happiness. This is a program of the United Way of Northwest VT. It provides a basket of food and gifts for the children in the family (16 and under) for nearly 1000 families in Franklin and Grand Isle Counties for the holidays.

Here are the Operation Happiness sign up dates and times by location. It begins on Monday 11/3/2025. Distribution Day this year will be 12/20/2025. After the registration dates pass it will only be as supplies last.

St. Albans: call 802-242-0315, 8 am – 6 pm, weekdays Nov. 3rd– Nov. 14th. Please leave a message.

Fairfield: call 802-827-6673, 10 am – 7 pm, M-F, Nov. 10th – Nov. 21st. Please leave a message.

We would like to inform you that we will be conducting a test of our mass notification system on December 5th. This test is part of our ongoing efforts to ensure effective communication in case of emergencies or important updates.

TODAY, Tuesday starting at 10:00 am Maple Run will be distributing free 7-day meal boxes for children and teenagers aged 18 and under at St Albans City School.
No proof of eligibility is required.
A total of 300 boxes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
