This is the single most asked question after a massage treatment. At Sara’s consultation she speaks to me about wanting to reduce the pain as well as have time where she is free altogether of pain. Sara works in an office at a job that she really likes. Unfortunately the pain she feels makes her stare at the clock one agonizing minute after minute. e Sciatica pain has impacted other areas of her life. Sara winces a little and explains that she is frustrated because her family often hikes on the weekends, and last weekend they went without her. “I really hate being left behind like that”. I reassured Sara that we actually will be able to make a difference with the right blend of massage plus some really simple stretches that I will do for her during her treatment. You will get relief in a few treatments, for ongoing relief I suggest to her to become part of our pain management program. After a few months, Sara is back hiking with her two small girls and husband. On Sara’s fourth treatment she explains that massage has made a huge difference in her life, she has more free range of motion, handles her everyday stresses with more ease and is enjoying work again. 🌿 AN EXCITING NEW OPPORTUNITY IS COMING TO ST. JOHNSBURY! 🌿

We’re thrilled to share that Strong Oaks Physical Therapy will be hosting the in-person classes for BodySoul Massage & Bodywork School’s Massage Therapy Certification Program right here in St. Johnsbury in 2027! 🎉💆‍♀️

This means aspiring massage therapists in the NEK can train close to home and build a rewarding career without having to travel far. ❤️

And for those who have dreamed of becoming a massage therapist, some students may even qualify to attend FREE through VSAC grants and scholarships! ✨

📅 Certification program coming to the NEK in 2027!
