Our next session begins October 12, and we’re so excited to welcome both returning students and new faces!

Homeschool Horsemanship is so much more than riding lessons. Students spend their mornings learning through real, hands-on experiences with horses and farm animals while building confidence, independence, responsibility, and teamwork along the way.

Our littlest horse lovers are invited to join us for a morning at Desert Dreamers!

Little Hooves Club is a fun, gentle introduction to horses, farm animals, and farm life created especially for little ones. We keep things hands-on and child-led, giving kids the chance to explore, interact with the animals, learn at their own pace, and build confidence along the way.

I’ve been feeling extra thankful lately. ❤️

Last year, I had to slow Desert Dreamers down quite a bit. As many of you knew, my dad was dealing with a large brain tumor, and between his care, surgery, and everything that came with it, I just couldn’t be at the farm as much. That meant fewer classes and putting some things on hold for a while.

Thankfully, life has settled down (as much as it can for a single homeschooling mom with a million animals. 😂🐴)

Now we’re back to a full schedule, classes are filling up, familiar faces are returning, and so many new families are joining us.

Desert Dreamers has always been so much more than a business to me. I built this place from the ground up, and seeing it busy, growing, and full of kids and animals again means more than I can put into words.

So I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for sticking with us, supporting us, recommending us, and trusting us with your kids.

🍂🐴 FALL BREAK CAMP! 🐴🍂

Looking for something fun for the kids to do over fall break? Come spend the week with us at Desert Dreamers!

We have a full week of horses, animals, crafts, fall activities, friends, and farm fun planned. Campers will get to ride, help care for the animals, learn along the way, and spend their mornings outside doing what kids should be doing , having fun, getting dirty, and making memories. 🤎

No horse experience is needed! We keep our camps small so everyone gets plenty of hands on time with the horses and animals.

We had a FULL class of toddlers today, and we are so excited to be offering Little Hooves Club again!

Funny enough, sitting on a horse wasn’t even part of today’s plan. But one of the things we love about keeping our classes child led is that sometimes the best learning happens when you’re willing to follow their curiosity.

Our little friends were interested, comfortable, and ready, so the plan changed. 🥹🐴

At this age, learning doesn’t need to look perfectly planned. Sometimes it’s meeting a horse, a goat or a pig, asking questions, exploring the farm, gaining enough confidence to try something new, and letting the experience unfold naturally. Child led learning means sometimes the lesson plan changes, and that can be where the best learning happens. 💕🌵

We can’t wait for the next Little Hooves Club!

Safety note: Helmets are always required for anyone under 18 at Desert Dreamers. These little ones were simply sitting on a stationary horse with hands on adult support, not participating in a riding lesson. 🐴💕

Open to kids ages 5+ for a fun-filled day on the farm!
