Shuhari Dojo Budo Taijutsu is an art used for combat. Emphasizing hand to hand, grappling/ground fighting, and weapons for real self protection

At the Shuhari Dojo, we strive to transmit Budo Taijutsu the way that Masaaki Hatsumi Soke had intended, "Naturally". As one progresses through training, they will begin to develop the ability to respond positively in stressful situations, awareness and focus will become enhanced, and balance and calmness will become the norm.

Training in a gi is important — but real life doesn’t happen in a gi.

Tonight we are training at the park in everyday clothes to experience how movement, balance, grabs, and self-defense techniques change when you’re wearing regular clothing. Come out and learn how to move naturally and effectively outside the comfort and flexibility of traditional uniforms.

Kids Class: 6:30–7:15 PM
Adults Class: 7:15–8:30 PM
