Not all heroes wear capes—some walk the halls of our school!

We want to send a huge thank you to our amazing intervention staff member Mr. Joseph McCall who has been an absolute lifesaver for our teachers and students. Whether it was helping students get back on track with their behavior, giving kids extra academic support, or just stepping in to give a teacher a quick bathroom break, he was always there.

He didn't just help a few classrooms; he supported the entire school wherever he was needed most. Thank you for showing up for all of us!

🎓👏 Congratulations to the student graduates of the Power of Dad mentorship program at Saginaw Middle School!

Over the past several Fridays, students participated in weekly mentorship sessions focused on life skills, communication, discipline, conflict resolution, and personal growth through the Power of Dad program.

The program wrapped up today with students receiving certificates of completion — but not before learning one final skill: how to tie a tie.

More importantly, students built relationships, gained confidence, shared laughs, and learned lessons they can carry with them beyond the classroom. Many students said they are already looking forward to participating again next year.

Thank you to the mentors and community leaders who continue investing time, guidance, and encouragement into our students.

Today, Saginaw Middle School held its honors assembly. We extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. Foley and Mr. Bob Johnson for participating as guest speakers. Additionally, we would like to thank Ms. Baldwin for hosting a commendable ceremony. Go Trojans 🖤💛

NO SCHOOL Friday, May 22nd, or Monday, May 25th, as we observe Memorial Day.
