Nouvel Sports

As a longstanding Nouvel Catholic Central tradition, members of our varsity football team and coaching staff are once again heading to C-Camp at Camp Rotary in Clare for a week of faith, fellowship and hard work.

The week is filled with challenging workouts, including two traditions the players look forward to each year, starting at the iconic Lumberman's Monument and taking on the ski hill at Snow Snake. These experiences push our Panthers physically while strengthening the bonds that make them a team. C-Camp is a great opportunity for our players to grow together in faith, encourage one another and build the character and leadership that will carry them both on and off the field.

Please join us in praying for our players and coaches as they work hard, stay safe, grow in their faith and prepare for the season ahead.

Our annual Baseball Camp brought together boys in 4th through 8th grade for three fun-filled days of learning the game from some of the best! Led by Coach Larson and members of the Nouvel Varsity Baseball Team, campers sharpened their skills while building confidence, sportsmanship and a love for baseball.

From fielding and hitting to throwing, base running and game situations, our young athletes worked hard, encouraged one another, and had plenty of fun along the way.

A big thank you to Coach Larson, our varsity players, and everyone who helped make this year's camp a home run! We loved seeing the next generation of Panthers on the diamond and can't wait to watch them continue to grow.

It was another great week of Nouvel football camp for our Panthers! More than 90 students in 1st through 8th grade joined us for three exciting days of learning, teamwork and fun!

Campers had the opportunity to learn from the Nouvel Catholic Central coaching staff, build their skills, get an inside look at the Panther football program and what it means to be part of our team.

Additionally, campers had the unique opportunity to hear from former Panther players about their experiences and the impact football has had on their lives.

Thank you to our coaches, former players, volunteers and families for making this year's camp such a success. We love watching these young athletes grow in confidence, sharpen their skills and experience what it means to be part of Panther football.

Our Nouvel Tennis Camp welcomed 115 boys and girls, from preschool through 9th grade, for the opportunity to develop their skills while having a blast on the courts.

Led by this year's Regional Champion Girls’ tennis team, campers practiced forehands, backhands, serves, volleys and footwork while enjoying fun games and activities along the way. More importantly, our student-athletes shared the value of hard work, teamwork and encouraging one another.

Thank you to all of our campers, coaches, volunteers and families for making this year's camp such an incredible success. We can't wait to see everyone back on the courts next summer!

Dribble. Shoot. Score. Repeat! Our girls basketball camp wrapped up with Coach Cooper. It was full of energy, hustle and plenty of smiles. The future is looking bright and it’s wearing Nouvel blue!

From serves and sets to smiles and teamwork, volleyball camp was a huge success! Our Panthers learned new skills, grew in confidence and had a great time. Thank you to everyone who helped make it a success. We can’t wait to see these future Panthers back on the court!

Summer sports camps are in full swing at Nouvel! This week, our boys varsity soccer team hosted a camp, giving young athletes the opportunity to develop their skills, build confidence and have fun on the pitch. We love seeing our Panthers learning from and being inspired by our older student-athletes!

It was a historic day at the Mid-Michigan Megastar Track and Field Meet! Our Panthers traveled to Shepherd yesterday for the last meet of the season. Congratulations to our student-athletes on these outstanding results!

​Gabby M. is a two-time Megastar Champion. She dominated our division to take 1st Place in both of her individual events, the 400m dash and 200m dash.

Our boys 4x100m relay team of Elliot M., Andrew M., Kasin S. and LJ S. set a new junior high school record! They broke their own record set earlier this season, clocking 49.16 seconds.

​What an incredible way to cap off a phenomenal season. The future is incredibly bright for Nouvel Track & Field!
