Every Board Counts. Every Kid Matters.
On October 3rd, our students are stepping onto the mats for something bigger than themselves.
At Cosens Martial Arts, we believe every child deserves the opportunity to build confidence, discipline, strength, and lifelong skills through martial arts, regardless of their family’s financial situation.
That’s why we’re holding our Break-A-Thon to raise money for martial arts scholarships for children in our community who might not otherwise have the opportunity to train.
Sponsor a Student’s Boards
For every $5 donated, a student gets one board to break during the Break-A-Thon.
We’re asking families, friends, and supporters to start by sponsoring at least 5 boards for $25.
$25 = 5 Boards
$50 = 10 Boards
$100 = 20 Boards
$250 = 50 Boards
100% of the proceeds go directly toward martial arts scholarships for kids in need.
The more boards you sponsor, the more boards our students get to break, and the more money we can put toward helping another child get onto the mats.

From September 28th through October 1st, Cosens Martial Arts students can bring a friend to class and let them experience what training is all about.
Bring your best friend, sibling, classmate, coworker, or anyone you think would have a great time training with you. Buddy Week is open to Kids, Teens, and Adults, and buddies can jump right into class alongside our students.

🥋 Testing Days Are Coming! 🥋
Our next testing will take place on September 23rd & 24th at our Saginaw studio!
📅 White Through Purple belts will be testing during their regularly scheduled class times. All Tiny Ninja ranks and Teen/Adult students will also test during classtime.
Little Ninja (Ages 5-7) Blue and Brown Belts will test on September 26th at 11am.
Children's Martial Arts (Ages 8-12) Blue and Brown Belts will test on September 26th at 1pm.
Black Belts (all ages) will have two testing days and times to choose from:
September 19th at noon or September 26th at 4pm.
Logan will be testing for his Senior Black Belt on September 19th starting at 3:30pm for his run, with technical testing starting at 4pm.
