2nd day of service:) The groups are participating in such impactful work and making many connections between the communities they are serving. Keep up the great work!

1st day of service is complete! So proud of the dedicated and hard work both groups put into today. From raking leaves/cleaning up homes with Habitat for Humanity to packing/preping meals with City Bridges Food Pantry!

And our May Extended Break groups are off! We are so excited to see what great things they accomplish. One group will be serving in Atlanta, GA with Hands-on Atlanta, while the other group will be in Leominster, MA partnering with Habitat for Humanity. Stay tuned for more updates..

We are excited to announce a Mini Break in Grand Rapids, Michigan, taking place from February 20th to 23rd, 2025. This break will focus on "Exploring Systemic Issues Surrounding Teen Mothers." We are currently seeking participants and potential site leaders who are interested in joining us. The goal of this Mini Break is to serve local communities and gain a deeper understanding of the support needed for vulnerable populations. Check out the link in our bio for the application. We are so excited to connect with you all in the new year!

That's a wrap on our 2024 Winter Breaks! A big thank you to all our community partners for hosting these groups during their Winter Break. We're so proud of the dedication and passion these students have shown in supporting others. A special thanks to our Site Leaders for guiding and leading the participants with such leadership and confidence. Here are some photo collages to showcase the meaningful impact they've made!

Day 2 was a successful and productive service day. The dedication and passion these participants have shown in supporting vulnerable communities is truly remarkable. Looking forward to more tomorrow! Great job, everyone!

Last, but not least, the “Affordable Housing: Disaster Relief” team worked diligently to prepare a home for sod placement. They removed rocks and filled in holes, all in preparation for laying the sod tomorrow. Great job, everyone—keep it up!

The Animal Care team had a rewarding day filled with bonding with the dogs and exploring the facility. They spent quality time offering affection to the dogs, giving them time to socialize, and taking them on walks around the property. We can’t wait to see all the amazing things they’ll get to do throughout the week!

Our Poverty group spent the day assembling Christmas gifts and toy bags for families in need. They also had the opportunity to explore the various resources offered by The Rescue Mission!
