On Monday we had the privilege to celebrate and thank Mr. Guenther one more time - a time full of great stories, laughter, and the evidence of years of shared ministry and friendship.

Thanks to Dr. Brandt and Mrs. Winter for your meaningful remarks and to Mr. Guenther, for your parting words of encouragement and truth.

CHARGER SPOTTING!

Isaac Rupprecht (VL 2026) was recently highlighted in the June edition of the Saginaw Township Living Magazine! Here's what it said about him:

Isaac Rupprecht, son of Eric and Stacy Rupprecht, is a recent graduate at Valley Lutheran High who has made the most of his high school years. Whether on the soccer field, the basketball court, or involved in activities like Global Awareness, NHS, Protect Life, Charger Ambassadors, Band, or ‘Guess Who’ Club, Isaac has stayed connected and invested in his school community. In the midst of it all, chapel has been one of his favorite parts of the day, giving him a chance to slow down, reset, and spend time in God’s Word. Another highlight of his time here at Valley was being on three district championship soccer teams, something he takes a lot of pride in. As he looks ahead, Isaac plans to attend college at Concordia Nebraska and major in middle school education. Mrs. Winter, English teacher shared, “I've observed in Isaac a strong desire to grow in his Christian faith, and to live out that faith daily. He has also been unleashing some exceptional talent in Creative Writing lately! I'm very impressed by this young man, and the way he represents our school and our God in his everyday life.” We are proud of you, Isaac, and can’t wait to see what God has in store for you next.

Four short years ago they entered the halls of Valley Lutheran as kids, barely graduated 8th graders, individuals.

Yesterday they walked out of the gym as confident young adults, high school graduates, unified forever as the Valley Lutheran Class of 2026. 🎓

A class who has grown in knowledge, character, and faith as they tackled school projects together, competed alongside each other on the field and court, and joined together for chapel each and every day. A class who has shown dedication, perseverance, and strength through trials walked and joys shared.

Graduation speaker Coach Auernhamer may have put it best as he spoke of Valley's mission statement - Class of 2026, you ARE prepared. And Christ IS your foundation.

So now, go, commence the plans God has for you! We are proud of all you have achieved and look forward to all God will continue to do in and through you as impact your communities, workplaces, and families for Him. May you always look to Him, walk confidently in faith, and stand on His firm foundation.

🏈 Jack Pine Youth Football Registration Open!
Calling all future football players! Registration is now open for 2nd and 3rd graders interested in joining the Jack Pine Youth Football League in Saginaw Township.

This is a great opportunity for young athletes to learn the fundamentals of football, develop teamwork skills, build confidence, and have fun in a positive environment. The season begins in August and runs into early September, making it the perfect introduction to the game.

A big congratulations to these Chargers and their Round Table Ultimate Frisbee team for bringing home a State Championship at the Ultimate Frisbee High School State Tournament last weekend!

They were undefeated throughout the day and beat the defending champs in the final match to secure the title. Wow!

The team is coached by Tom and Dan Plamondon and has a history of success with this marking the third state title in the past four years.

Way to go Chargers!
