What does it take to run a successful field day? ... Lots of extra hands!
Our Youth Development & Leadership students had the opportunity to lend those extra hands by helping run field day stations at Merrill Park Elementary, Herig Elementary, and White Pine Middle School.
From giving directions to encouraging students and keeping the fun going, our students stepped into leadership roles and helped create memorable experiences for hundreds of children. Their energy, responsibility, and enthusiasm were on full display!
These real-world experiences allow our students to develop valuable skills in leadership, communication, teamwork, and working with children, all while giving back to our school community.
A huge thank you to Merrill Park Elementary, Herig Elementary, and White Pine Middle School for welcoming our students and providing them with these meaningful opportunities. We are proud of the positive impact they continue to make!

Fullerton Tool continues to make a tremendous impact by investing in Career & Technical Education, supporting our Engineering program, serving on our advisory committee, and creating opportunities for students to explore careers in advanced manufacturing. Their partnership helps bridge the gap between the classroom and the workforce. 🤝
In the attached video, Mr. Andres shares some of the incredible machines and tooling used in the classroom thanks to Fullerton Tool’s generosity. These industry level resources give students the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience, work toward certifications, and build connections that can help shape their futures.

Our seniors may have graduated, but SCC is still full of hard-working students preparing to take the lead next year! 🔧💻🛠️
Today was busy across the campus as students continued building their skills and gaining hands-on experience. Building Construction students celebrated earning breakfast from Mr. Heiser after working on hunting blinds, Welding students were hard at work in the shop, IT students stayed busy on their projects, and both Auto programs were full of activity. Check out Oliver's family owned Corvette that he was working on!
