Joe Balbaugh, you made the whole thing happen and we love you for it! Thank you to Jess and everyone at the Willew Lounge for your generosity and hospitality. Thanks to Carey Limberg for spending the whole day with us and making us sound good. And a huge thank you to every musician who donated their time and talents to the cause! Geez, there is so much talent in MidMichigan.

The best part of the night was when the Major Chords student band took the stage and the audience prepared to listen politely like it was a school recital. Watching the look on their faces change when they heard the funkiest grooves and absolutely brilliant playing was worth the price of admission. These aren’t “just kids.” They are full-on all-the-way musicians.

Thank you for believing in them. Thank you for showing up. Thank you for helping us remove barriers to music education and build something powerful right here in our community.

Hey yall, it’s Amy.
I attended my first Band Roulette last night. That was AWESOME.
Michigan has an embarrassment of riches when it comes to musical talent. Watching so many musicians come together, collaborate and share the stage was inspiring. And all for the purpose of supporting music education…what an incredible community! (Joe Balbaugh Musician made us awfully proud.)
Thank you to every musician involved, thank you to the State Theater, thank you Jeff Poirier for including us and for turning this cool idea into an annual event. And thank you to everyone who attended the show. You’re keeping the music playing in MidMichigan!

We are thankful for our friends! Love makes the world go round. Thank you for being part of our world, SOAR Students!!!

This is one of the coolest musical events in mid-Michigan! Our local rock stars singing and playing their hearts out to benefit local music education, like US!!! We’re grateful and we’re looking forward to a fun night. Help sell it out!!!

We are well on our way for selling this event out, with only 162 tickets left. Last year we sold over 100 at box office once the doors open, so if you want to attend, please consider purchasing online ahead of time to secure your seat.
