ABANA is hosting this event. Please share it with your neighbors and friends and on social media.

You are invited to a special informational get-together Monday, May 11 at 6 pm at Thompson Middle School, 3021 Court St. at Congress.

The meeting will be conducted by Restore Saginaw, a local citizen group that has petitioned the Saginaw City Council to place a proposal on the general election ballot November 3. The proposal would repeal an amendment to the City Charter that limited property tax collection to the 1978 level of $3.8 million.

Learn what the proposal will do for the city and what it means for you. Ask your questions and get answers. Be informed.

Please put the date on your calendar and we will meet you soon.

Your neighbors,
Restore Saginaw

Saturday evening we are having one of our monthly Saturday Night Socials. There will be snacks, but feel free to bring something if you like and whatever you want to drink. Most importantly, we need you!

So after dinner, bundle up and come over to Debbie Melkonian's home (mine) at 2116 Adams Blvd from 7-10 pm. We can chat about how much we love Michigan's weather and then we can skate, ski, and snowboard.........vicariously on NBC!

I was just talking to the Beach Boys the other day when they said, "Wouldn't It Be Nice to have some Fun, Fun, Fun and Good Vibrations on Saturday night?" So Help Me Rhonda and Barbara Ann by coming out to catch up with your neighbors. Don't Worry Baby, everything will be alright!

See you Saturday,

Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., ABANA will have its monthly meeting at Thompson Middle School.

Our speaker will be Amonita Lee, representing the Northeast Michigan 211 call center. Remember who, what, where, when, and how? Those are just some of the questions she will answer. Prepare to be amazed! Stay informed and don't miss this opportunity to learn about this invaluable service.

By Wednesday, you should be accustomed to the temperatures so don't let that stop you from coming out.

Looking forward to seeing you,
Debbie

"Do I need a will?" will be the topic for our guest speaker Wednesday at 6:30 pm at Thompson Middle School.

This month we will also have the election of officers for next year. If you would like to become more involved and serve your neighborhood, please attend and indicate your preference for office.

Finally, we will have ornaments available for Santa's helpers to decorate the boulevards for Christmas. It's a great way to get in the holiday spirit.

Hope you will come out to our final meeting of 2025 Wednesday evening. See you there.
