What a night for Loomis Wildcats! We had artists, poets, comedians, singers, and dancers!! Our community partner; Omega Psi Phi Fraternity sponsored the event! Thanks to Omega Psi Phi we had cash prizes for our wildcats and dinner for our families!
Special thanks to our very own, โthe Jackson 2!โ Mr. Jackson, BI and Ms. Jackson, school social worker! They hosted the event and helped the students audition and prepare for their pieces. They decorated beautifully with a candy land theme! ๐ญ๐ฌ๐ซ

๐ง๐จ5th graders in Ms. Kuntzโ class constructed their collaborative waterslides and began trials to test their structural integrity with water. ๐ฆ
โ ๏ธThey also tested their safety engineering using marbles to determine if there will be any potential collisions. ๐ซฏ
๐Many lessons learned today and they took notes so they can improve upon their designs tomorrow! ๐๐ฝโโ๏ธโฒ๏ธ๐ข

We are pleased to announce that the garden is nearly finished, thanks to the hard work of Ms. Kuntz's 5th-grade students, who did an excellent job planting trees. Ms. Huynh's 1st-grade class also played a vital role in the project by planting flower seeds. Moreover, students from Mr. Andrew's 4th-grade class and Ms. Kingsley's and Mrs. Haley's 3rd-grade class, along with Mr. Jaime's 2nd-grade class, actively participated in the planting activities. Our sincerest gratitude goes to all involved for their tireless efforts and commitment to making this project a success. We hope the garden will bring joy to both students and families. The exceptional work ethic displayed by these students, especially in the heat, is worthy of recognition.
We would also like to express our special gratitude to Home Depot, Abele Greenhouse, VBM Church members, and Saginaw Valley Fencing Co. for their generous contributions.
