Swan Valley JV and Varsity Football head west tomorrow to take on Whitehall. JV plays at 4:30 p.m., followed by the varsity game at 7:00 p.m.

If you are planning to attend, please note that it is approximately a 2-hour, 30-minute drive. The game will be played at Whitehall Middle School, not the high school.

Yesterday, the SV Boys Soccer team hit the road and traveled to Alma to take on the #5-ranked team in the state! The vikings showed up ready to compete and came away with a HUGE 6-3 victory.

#3 - isaac Mauch (Fr.) w/ an assist from Landen Whelton (Jr.)

Welcome back students and parents! Bowling season is just around the corner. There will be an informative meeting on Wednesday, October 7th in the High School library at 6 PM. All parents and returning players please attend. Anyone interested in joining the team is also encouraged to attend. Coach Ahler will be at the school during both lunch periods on September 17th to answer your questions as well.

The Vikings soccer team put together a strong performance last night beating John Glenn 5-1. The defensive players Noah Smith, Elijah Booth, Trenton McDonald & Don McCoy were outstanding all game.

Uncle John’s Invite

The Vikings traveled down to Uncle John’s Cider Mill to take on the Large School division of the race. The division was headlined by Dewitt (Top 25 in D2), Okemos, and Holt (Both D1). Both teams battled through rugged and bumpy conditions to secure 4th place on the boys side and 6th for the girls.

The boys were led by Freshman Connor Charboneau who placed 2nd with a new PR of 16:53. Other PRs in the race include Lucas Kench (20:16), Jacob Vasquez (34:32), and Seth Blankenship (38:26). Connor Charboneau, Spencer Dammann, and Vaughn Trombley were all medalists.

Aubrey Hare led the charge for the girls, crossing the line in 9th place in 21:15. PRs from the girls race include Alexis Unger (25:14), Shelby Mercer (27:38), Krislyn Thomas (27:41), and Rylie Nachtweih (29:10).

We’re back in action tomorrow morning at the MSU Spartan Invite at Forest Akers East Golf Course. Boys run at 10:10 and the girls at 10:40.
