What a special day celebrating our amazing Pre-K students at their End of Year Celebration! These little learners have grown so much this year — making new friends, learning new skills, and building confidence every single day. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and cannot wait to see all the wonderful things they will do in Kindergarten! Thank you to our incredible Pre-K staff and families for supporting our students throughout the year. Congratulations, Pre-K students!!!🎉

Today we celebrated and honored three incredible Kempton employees for the years of dedication, compassion, patience, and love they poured into our students, staff, and school community. The impact they have made will be felt for generations to come. Ms. Wilson, Mrs. Baston, and Mrs. Creighton, we wish each of you endless happiness, relaxation, new adventures, and many wonderful memories in this next chapter. Congratulations on your retirement and thank you for everything you have done for education and for our students!

Our volunteer appreciation dinner at Kempton was a huge success! We are so thankful for all of our amazing volunteers and everything they have done for our students and school this year. Volunteers were recognized with certificates, thank-you gifts, and a special dinner in appreciation of their time, kindness, and dedication. We truly could not do it without all of your support. Thank you for making a difference at Kempton! ❤️

Our Kempton fifth graders had an unforgettable adventure at the Detroit Zoo today! Students had a wonderful time exploring, learning, and making memories with their classmates. It was a day full of fun, excitement, and hands-on learning outside the classroom. Thank you to all of our staff and chaperones who helped make this trip a success:)

Mrs. Spannagel’s first graders made bird feeders for our outside home backyard feathered friends today!

What an amazing Leadership Day at Kempton! Our theme, “Rocking Leaders,” made the day even more special. This special day was a wonderful celebration of student growth. Our students did an outstanding job demonstrating how they have developed as leaders this year through skits, hands-on projects, songs about the habits, and presentations of their learning. It was wonderful to see so many parents come out to support and celebrate their students. We are incredibly proud of them.

The excitement continues at Kempton—students are enjoying their new chick friends and now have baby ducks to love as well!

This program is designed to help students strengthen academic skills and build confidence as they transition into middle school.

📍 Location: Saginaw PD Center
📅 June 22 – July 30, 2026
🕗 Monday–Thursday | 8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

The program is:
✅ Mandatory for identified current 5th grade students
✅ Encouraged for all rising 6th graders

Families of identified students will receive direct district notification.

What a great night on Friday at our Elementary Spring Dance & Open Gym!
Students enjoyed dancing, open gym fun, and delicious concessions while spending time with friends and making memories together. Thank you to everyone who helped make this event such a success for our students!
