In September, the Munchkins learned about fairytales. They scooped “porridge” and match pictures for Goldilocks and the Three Bears. Built a tall “beanstalk” and glue cotton balls, beans, and the sun for Jack and the Beanstalk. Glued different objects that represented straws, sticks, and bricks and used a straw to blow paint for The Three Little Pigs. Scooped grains of wheat and match shapes for The Little Red Hen.

This months theme was the circus, and the munchkins learned about lions and popcorn for the last two weeks. Out of the two sensory bins, can you guess which one was their favorite? The munchkins glued the number puzzles together, finger painted and dotted the letter f with this month’s color, fed the lion, attempted to paint the lion’s mane with a cotton ball, glued cotton balls for popcorn, and tossed the yellow balls (popcorn) into the popcorn container.
