What an amazing day in our EMS education center! Our Mt. Pleasant EMT students not only got to practice their clinical skills on a gorgeous day, they worked alongside the Mt. Pleasant Fire Department, who assisted Instructor Phoebe, in teaching our students how to extricate patients from a vehicle accident. Students practiced their lifting/moving of patients, patient assessment, along with handling patients with suspected trauma.

What an amazing learning experience! This could be you too!

MMR EMTs Brandi and John are in their externship--preparing clinically for the day they will graduate from the paramedic program and advance in the field as paramedics. Their paramedic-supervisor, Andy, provides some mentoring to help them along with their studies. We wish them both the very best!
