We are saddened to share that the recent devastation caused by Hurricane Melissa has deeply affected the families of several of our dedicated custodial staff members in the Sag Harbor School District. These individuals work tirelessly to maintain a clean and safe environment for our students, and now they find themselves in need of support. By contributing to this fundraiser, you can help ease the financial burden they are facing during this challenging time. Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly to those affected, ensuring they receive the assistance they need to recover.

In addition to our regular Thanksgiving food drive, Teachers Association of Sag Harbor will be donating $2,000 to the Sag Harbor Community Food Pantry to help our community respond to the recent reductions in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits. This support aims to provide immediate relief for families facing tough choices. We encourage everyone to pitch in however they can—whether by donating, volunteering, or simply spreading the word that no one should have to worry about where their next meal is coming from.
