She's back in the water and headed to Jamestown RI where we will give her a full refit. Well needed I might add, but she's back!

My dear friends,
Not knowing what the near future will be with LELANTA not chartering, I've decided to sell my beloved little KOKO. Should you know of anyone whom would like her, then please spread the word. I would like for her to go to a good home.

This is how KOKO looks now but it won't be long before she is up and running. We plan on having a particularly good year with the boats this summer. I sincerely apologize for not keeping everybody updated I promise to do a better job. I'm sure it will not be long before we find every rock crevice and shoal that we have hit in the past couple of years and we certainly look forward to finding them again.

Maritime Festival delivery back to Sag
I cannot believe that it has been over a year since I have posted anything on this page... amazing were the time goes. KOKO is better than ever after finalizing a major interior and exterior refit this summer. We barely had her sailing, but she will be ready for a whole new season next year. interior is all newly painted, upholstered, and varnished. She looks great. She has been taken back to Greenport Shipyard for her yearly haul and storage. We look forward to having more students and adventurers next year. She also has a new sister to play with. Its a Tartan 34c that we just bought and will be doing the same type of restoration on her. What a grand summer its going to be. See you next year!
Wow, what a ride that has been. First and foremost, apologies for not
updating the KOKO page, but she has had a busy June. Kerith as
successfully completed many hours of instruction and has even done her
first "solo" with Christian for a 4 hour sail on their own. Yay! Kerith.
We have been recruiting new students, but have had some trouble with
weather or scheduling.
We are now the official, "Un-official Sailing School" for SHYC. We like that title since it gives us a goal to shoot for.
You are probably thinking that we wish to become the "Official Sailing
School of the Sag Harbor Yacht Club" we'll, truth be told, I am happy
to just hold the unofficial position. Therefore we can continue with our
ways and not become "the ex unofficial sailing school for the SHYC"
July 4th weekend saw us sailing multiple times, skinny dipping over by
Lelanta cove on Shelter and loads of drinking in between. Some of us had
a run of 32 hours of fun non-stop. The identities of which will not be
released here or in our newsletter, but judgment of how we held up will.
OK! OK!, I'll admit it, I was there, but saw nothing and certainly do
not recall any of it. Except for that cute....
