We are thrilled to appear in IndieWire as we celebrate a groundbreaking new chapter for SignUp and for accessible entertainment. We are working together to create ASL interpretation for some of your most beloved movies and TV shows.

Through our new collaboration with Netflix, SignUp Media is making 200+ hours of Netflix Kids & Family content available with ASL interpretation, including 41 franchises and 25 movies featuring performances from 18 native Deaf performers.

When SignUp Media was founded in 2021, this was the vision: to make the world’s most loved entertainment accessible to Deaf audiences everywhere.

Today, we are incredibly proud to announce a first-of-its-kind milestone: 200+ hours of Netflix Kids & Family content are now available in American Sign Language (ASL). This is the first time Netflix has offered this scale of ASL accessibility, and we feel privileged to work with them to help make this possible.

200+ hours of Netflix Kids & Family content, 25 movies, 41 franchises, and 18 incredible native Deaf SignUp interpreters bringing beloved stories to life in ASL.

From a dream imagined five years ago to a groundbreaking collaboration with Netflix. This moment represents the power of technology, creativity, and the belief that everyone deserves to experience the joy and connection of storytelling.

When Deaf children have access to sign language interpretation, they can fully understand the stories, feel every emotion, and be inspired just like everyone else.
