You may be wondering, "What makes our PTO different?"
At DSS PTO, everyone's voice matters. Whether your ideas are big or small, we want to hear them. No suggestion or opinion is ever dismissed.
We also understand that life is busy. Families, work, and personal commitments always come first! We don't expect you to attend every meeting or volunteer at every event. We're a come when you can, help when you can kind of team.
We've built a group of parents who genuinely care about our students, staff, and one another. We value every volunteer and appreciate every contribution—no matter how big or small.

📅 Our first PTO meeting of the school year is Thursday, August 6th at 6:00 PM in Mrs. Blancarte's room.
Whether you're a returning member or just curious about what PTO is all about, we'd love to have you join us!

The DSS Yearbook Committee wants to make sure every family has plenty of time to order their yearbook this year!
This is only our 2nd year creating a DSS yearbook, and if you saw last year's edition, you know how incredible it was. Our Yearbook Committee did an amazing job capturing so many special moments and memories from throughout the school year.
Don't miss out on the memories they'll be capturing this year! Order early to make sure your student has a keepsake they'll treasure for years to come.

School supply lists are ready!
Our school supply lists are now available! Please note that these lists are not mandatory, but they are recommended to help students start the school year prepared.
Items such as backpacks, headphones, and water bottles are used every day and are especially helpful for students to have.
Teachers may also provide families with an additional list of classroom-specific items during Meet the Teacher Night.

📦 Orders will be ready for pickup in approximately 2 weeks, with pickup available on July 28th during Meet the Teacher Night. If you selected to have your order sent home with your student, we'll make sure it gets to them.

Missed this round? Don't worry! We will have a limited number of shirts available for purchase during Meet the Teacher Night on July 28th. If needed, we'll open another order on August 24th.
