Saddle River Day School Saddle River Day School is a PreK3-12 independent, coeducational, college preparatory day school. In 1976 it was admitted to The Cum Laude Society.

Saddle River Day School, located in the hills of Saddle River, New Jersey, was founded in 1957 and graduated its first senior class in 1960. In 1966 it received accreditation from the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Its student body of 385 boys and girls is drawn from 64 communities in Bergen, Essex and Passaic Counties in New Jersey and Rockland County in New York. Saddle River

Day School is comprised of three divisions: the Lower Division (PreK3-4th), the Middle Division (5th-8th) and the Upper Division 9th-12th). Students experience highly individualized attention during the college counseling process that enables each to consider all of their options as well as empowering them to complete their applications in order to highlight their accomplishments and unique personality traits. Saddle River Day School is a non-profit, non-discriminatory, co-educational, college-preparatory independent day school accredited by the New Jersey Association of Independent Schools and the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools and the state of New Jersey; member of the National Association of Independent Schools. Over 80% of SRDS faculty hold advanced degrees.

This past Tuesday, Linda Talton, Saddle River Day School's New York City Regional Admission Lead, welcomed Directors of Admission from boarding and day schools and families on Martha's Vineyard to Sailing Camp Park for the School First on The Vineyard event. It was such a great opportunity to have intimate conversations with families about their children and what they are looking for in a school, and for Linda to share what makes SRDS such a special place for families and students. It was a beautiful day and we are so grateful that families took time away from the beach and all of the other fun outings on the island to take advantage of this special event!
