Bowling Green - Chacon Language and Science Academy We are a kindergarten to 6th grade public charter school located in Sacramento, Ca. Nurturing critical thinkers with a passion for learning.

Our school offers a 90/10 Spanish & English Dual Immersion program as well as traditional English immersion classes. Guiding students to be caring and culturally aware. Developing confident individuals who apply Lifeskills and become well rounded, proactive members of society.

Anyone 18 years and younger can get a free breakfast and lunch at more than 50 campus locations, even if they aren't a student in the district.

Happy Juneteenth Freedom Day!

On Juneteenth we commemorate the emancipation of the last enslaved African Americans in Texas. Also known as Freedom Day, this is an important and deeply personal holiday for our community and truthfully acknowledges a period in our history that shaped and continues to influence our society today. In observance of Juneteenth, all district offices and facilities will be closed.

We are very sad to announce that our fourth grade teacher Maestro Martinez will not be at Chacon next year after 34 years of service, he is one of the founding teachers of our bilingual program and a pillar of our school, we don’t know what we will do without him! 😭😭😭
