We had an amazing turnout at our Junior Jag Days this year! Close to 250 8th grade students from across the Sacramento Region came to experience what it's like to be enrolled in our Career and Technical Patient Care Pathway. Thanks to all of our student representatives, teachers, and industry partners who helped make it happen.

Special shout out to participating partners: Sac Fire, Kaiser Permanente, Faces for the Future, HAWK, Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce, Assemblywoman Maggie Krell, the Offices of Senators Ashby and Niello, Assemblymember Nguyen and Capital Impact and the K-16 Collaborative for your care and commitment to building sustainable healthcare pipelines for students in Sacramento!

For students who are excited about health and medical sciences—and who would thrive in a small, highly specialized school environment with opportunities to meet medical professionals, earn industry-recognized certifications, and receive support while taking college courses—Health Professions High School may be an excellent fit.

Benjamin Health Professions High School has hired two new nursing teachers to elevate our Patient Care Pathway and work towards our goal of an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant Program.
