I am excited to have begun working with Tracy Høeg, at Northern California Orthopedic Associates (NCOA). Dr. Høeg, Dr. James and Dr. Tortosa make up the dream team at NCOA, 1601 E. Main St #201, Grass Valley, CA.

Dr. Høeg is a board certified physical medicine and rehabilitation physician who specializes in the treatment of a variety of sports and spine conditions. She uses musculoskeletal ultrasound and electromyography to help direct her interventions.

Born and raised in Wisconsin, Dr. Høeg went to University of Wisconsin, Madison for her undergraduate work and then she received her MD degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. She is a dual nationality American-Danish citizen and her hobbies include running, cycling, swimming, playing soccer, photography, journalism and music.

Starting this past week with Dr. Høeg was great as we share similar interests inside and outside the clinic. I look forward to working with her for many years to come.

I have had the pleasure of working with Phong Le, DPM for over four years at Northern California Orthopedic Associates. Dr. Le is one of the co-founders at NCOA, 75 Scripps Drive, Sacramento, CA.

Dr. Le is a fellowship trained foot and ankle specialist and board certified foot surgeon with over 10 years of experience. He started his undergraduate education at Clark University and Worcester State University followed by podiatry school at Temple University. He is very involved in the Sacramento Valley Podiatric Medical Society, teaching at UC Davis and Samuel Meerut College, and has surgical privileges across many Sacramento area hospitals.

Dr. Le is young and energetic, keeping great interpersonal communications with colleagues, staff and patients. He has personally went out of his way to welcome me into a collaboration with NCOA to perform their electrodiagnostic studies. In addition Dr. Le has introduced me to several of his colleagues. I am forever grateful for the help he has provided me in my career and look forward to learning a lot from Dr. Le in years to come.
