On Tuesday, Mr. Carson's Environmental Science students enjoyed the beautiful spring weather while learning about the diverse tree types on our campus: ginko biloba, oak, Sycamore, Chinese Hackberry, palm, and cypress. They discussed leaf shapes and how trees have adapted for specific climates. Gotta 💚 that science, Eagles!

JA Stock Market Challenge is a national competition that simulates stock trading over a simulated 60-day period. El Camino was able to take 4 teams to the Northern California Challenge this year, and all our teams placed in the top 17 spots. One of our teams, comprised of Luis Solorio, Yojhan Gomez, and Emanuel Huentes, placed 2nd overall and earned a spot at the National Competition at Boston University in Massachusetts at the beginning of June. Great work to all who competed, and congratulations to Luis, Yojhan, and Emanuel!

Tonight we welcomed incoming Eagles and their families to visit the nest and choose their classes for next year. It was great to meet you, Class of 2030!

All current, and especially future Eagles, are invited to join us on Tuesday, March 24, to learn about classes and programs for next year! Incoming freshmen will be registering for classes and can learn more about AVID, athletics, and Student Government. EC Boosters and PTSA will also be sharing information about parent involvement. We look forward to seeing you there!
