After a summer of rest, our campus is beginning to stir. Teachers are back preparing their classrooms and with Michaelmas only a few weeks away, our 6th grade is already hard at work bringing this year’s dragon to life. 🐉✨ The rhythm of a new school year is beginning!

Paper mâché puppet fun! Our Summer Program students created the sweetest puppets, bringing each one to life with imagination and creativity. On the final day of puppet making, they celebrated with a delightful puppet play featuring their wonderful handmade characters!

Our Summer Program is in full swing!
Last week we kicked things off with Mosaic Making, Sew Fun, Woodworking and Food, Music & Tastes of Mexico. Our sewing students stitched light weight summer pajama shorts and handmade potholders, while our mosaic artists transformed repurposed ceramic dishes into beautiful works of art — smashing, breaking and recreating. In the woodworking class, students crafted whimsical gnome homes, even enlisting the sewing students to create tiny pillows and blankets for their woodland friends. Next door, the joyful songs of Mexico filled the air, accompanied by the delicious aromas of homemade tortillas and beans. The fun continues this week with new classes, new themes and more hands-on creativity. Stay tuned for more summer adventures!

Our middle school families and teachers are once again coming together to raise funds for our upcoming 8th grade trips by staffing our annual fireworks booth at the Delta Shores Shopping Center parking lot.
One of our favorite parts of this tradition is spending time together outside the school gates — working side by side with parents, teachers, meeting neighbors and building community while supporting meaningful educational experiences. We will be out there through the 4th of July — please stop by. Thank you for helping make these memorable class trips possible!

The 5th grade main lesson books have been bound and sent home. One of the sweetest moments at the end of the school year is flipping through these rich pages and seeing a year’s worth of work — learning, creativity, effort and growth, all captured by hand.

One of the most beloved moments of our End-of-Year Ceremony is the reverse rose presentation. Our 1st grade students gifted a rose to their 8th grade buddy, honoring their journey and wishing them well as they prepare to leave Camellia and begin a new chapter. Congratulations to the Class of 2026! 🌹

Working with natural materials, simple tools, and their own ingenuity, our 3rd grade students completed their shelter projects. Each class had an opportunity to view their shelters, ask questions and learn something special about each project. Well done 3rd grade!
