Check out our Lion’s Den Afterschool Program at MLKTA💜🦁 This year we have jump started our grade level pathways where our 7th grade scholars come together and learn more about navigating middle school and our 8th grade scholars learn more about transitioning to high-school. This week our 7th graders explored “What is Peer Pressure” and worked through scenarios of how to navigate tough conversations to make safe decisions.

‼️Can we get a big WOO-HOO‼️

Thanks to the help of all our wonderful customers and amazing staff, we were able to raise over $15,000 for the Roberts Family Development Center during our Independence for Hunger Food drive. 🤘🤘

The Robert’s Family development center is driven to making our community a healthier, smarter, and safer place for our children and their future. ❤️

Once again, we want to give all of you a huge thanks for making this possible. ❤️

For nearly 10 consecutive summers, youth from eight different communities have come together through the Kings & Queens Rise Summer Basketball & Cheer Program to compete, build friendships, and grow both on and off the court. 🏀📣👑

As the Black Child Legacy Community Lead for Del Paso Heights/North Sacramento, Roberts Family Development Center is proud to use this program as more than just a sports league. It is an opportunity to provide mentorship, leadership development, positive enrichment, and a safe space where our young people can thrive.

Every practice, every game, and every conversation is another chance to encourage our youth, strengthen community connections, and remind them that they are seen, valued, and capable of greatness.

Thank you to our coaches, cheer advisors, families, volunteers, partners, and every young person who continues to make Kings & Queens Rise a tradition of excellence and community.

Together, we’re not just building athletes—we’re building future leaders. ❤️🖤
