Who could forget the powerful words and presence of Dolores Huerta, Paul Flores, Laura Rendón, Paul Hernandez, Las Cafeteras, and Julissa Arce? You inspired us to lead, heal, and return home renewed.

🌟 Speaker Spotlight: Paul S. Flores 🌟

Paul S. Flores is a leading Latino performance artist and youth arts educator whose works—plays, oral narratives, and spoken word—explore transnationality, citizenship, and cultural identity. His debut poetry book We Still Be: Poems and Performances, winner of the 2024 American Book Award, amplifies stories that spur social change.

Dolores Huerta is one of the most influential labor leaders and civil rights activists in American history. Co-founder of the United Farm Workers and founder of the Dolores Huerta Foundation, she has spent more than six decades championing farmworker rights, gender equity, and community empowerment — and at 95, she continues to be an unstoppable force for justice.

Dr. Laura I. Rendón, Professor Emerita and nationally recognized advocate for underserved students, has dedicated her career to advancing equity in higher education.
