The Piano Series

Come hear an exciting and beautiful solo piano recital by the Piano Series guest artist, Pei-Chun Liao. A professor of Piano at Taipei University, she will perform at the Sacramento State Capistrano Concert Hall on Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023 at 7:00pm!

Friends, we are sorry to report that because of the Coronavirus threat, Sacramento State has canceled the next Piano Series master class and recital with Lino Rivera for April 17 and 18, 2020. We hope to engage him next season ~ so keep watch!!

Friends! Please come and enjoy Piano Series guest artist Geoffrey Burleson in a spectacular piano recital on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at 7pm at Capistrano Concert Hall on the campus of Sacramento State. His program will have a great variety including Saint-Saens and Liszt! Don't miss him!

ANTON NEL will perform in recital at Sacramento State on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2019 at 7:00pm at Capistrano Concerto Hall. Admission is $20/general and $15/seniors and students. Please join us for a great evening of piano music by an internationally acclaimed artist!

We are hopeful that the fires in CA are being contained and extinguished, and are saddened by the lost of precious life while thinking of those who are still missing. If the campus is open this Friday, please come to hear MR. STEVEN DiBLASI conduct of piano master class at 2pm in Capistrano Concert Hall for the college pianists. All community people are welcomed and it is free of charge.

Natsuki Fukasawa will perform a solo piano recital titled "Prints and Poetry" on the Piano Series Saturday, Oct. 13, 2018 at 7:00pm at Sacramento State Capistrano Concert Hall. Tickets are available at the door at $20 general, $15 seniors, and $10 students. Tell a friend!! Her poetic program will include Sunny Knable's newly composed "36 Views of Mount Fuji", and Liszt's "Dante Sonata" with a few other popular treats thrown in, such as Debussy's "Claire de lune" and Faure's "Claire de lune" -- back to back!
