The best way to keep your home clutter free is to maintain a cleaning schedule that works best with your schedule. When we have a designated time to do something, it usually gets done, rather than just "knowing" you need to clean!! For example;
MONDAY- living room, main bathroom
TUESDAY- master bedroom, master bathroom
WEDNESDAY- kitchen
THURSDAY- kid bedrooms
Now- this is my schedule and works for me to do a little each day, but when I know I have a busy week ahead of me, I choose to do all of this in one day. Keep in mind that these rooms are clutter free, they just need the usual dusting and floor care, also cobwebs or what ever else grabs my eye. This is for maintenance!

Getting ready for summer means spring cleaning!! I may be crazy but it is a time I actually get excited about. I am a huge fan of purging all that you can and storing things in an organized way. Time to rotate the clothes in your closet, go through the toy boxes, and clean your yard!! Contact me for help, I can't wait to get started!
So I realized something, instead of stressing with the kids to keep the house clean all day, let them enjoy themselves until evening time. Then, just before bedtime, do a family "5 minute clean up". Race to clean everything that has been played with during the day. It will eliminate your stress and get the job done so you can go to bed with the clean house you woke up to!! Keep in mind that this only works if your space is CLUTTER FREE!!
It's been a while and boy have I been busy! Then I thought, while my place is getting "CLUTTER FREE", I need to be encouraging others to do the same!! Once a month take ONE room of your home and DEEP clean it! This means in addition to the weekly dusting and mopping/vacuuming, clean the walls, ceilings, corners, and CLUTTER! Tackle your mountain of laundry literally one load at a time! It is easy for it to pile up, and believe it or not, it is easy for it to get done......completely done! Start by separating, then begin your loads. The key is folding and putting away each load as they come out of the dryer! Don't wait to get another mountain of clean clothes!! To maintain, ONE LOAD A DAY KEEPS THE MOUNTAIN AWAY!!

What is the best way you could spend $50?
There is no shame in inviting someone else into your home to help you tackle your chores! Sometimes we get overwhelmed with life and its daily demands, and it would be nice to have someone that cares to come and respectfully get everything back in order!
When trying to deep clean your house, don't be discouraged! Take one room at a time, unless it is a bathroom or kid's room, then two in a day! Stay focused and motivated and remember... purge, purge, purge!!
For those of you that just went , or are just about to go grocery shopping and are just going to pile it all in your cupboards...DON'T! Give me a call and I will come and set everything straight so you can live an orderly and organized life like you've always wanted!
