AN IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR ALL MEMBERS OF THE LORETTO HIGH SCHOOL SACRAMENTO COMMUNITY AND BEYOND!!

The Affordable Care Act (ACA /Obamacare) enrollment period was shortened and the current administration cut the funding to advertise these deadlines by 90%.

Enrollment for 2018 ACA / Obamacare starts November 1 and ends December 15. You can't enroll on Sundays because they do maintenance on the website.

PLEASE COPY AND PASTE ON YOUR OWN TIMELINE. Then add Congratulations! so the algorithms will post it more frequently. Also, commenting improves this post's visibility.

It is with great sadness and regret that I have to share the news that another dear member of our Loretto High School Sacramento Alumnae Sisterhood. Patti Hancock Ravine, Yellowjacket and forever member of the LHS Class of 1977 (attended in her Frosh year), died on Saturday, April 8, 2016. Please share the following news. A funeral mass to celebrate Patti's life is Saturday, April 23rd at 1:00pm at St. Ignatius Loyola Parish. A reception will follow.

Patti, you are so loved by your forever Loretto Sisterhood & Community...you will always be remembered as a kind friend! May you Rest in Peace, Amen!

Dear Worldwide Loretto High School Sacramento Alumnae Sisterhood & Community, Families and Friends,

Our Dear Sister Jean Frye '59, IBVM recently passed away in Naperville, Illinois and now rests in St. Michael's Cemetery in Wheaton, Illinois. To honor her time as our beloved friend, mentor, academic advisor, teacher and principal at Loretto High School, we are holding a Memorial Mass and a Celebration of her Life on Saturday, April 16, 2016, at St. Ignatius Loyola Church on Arden Way in Sacramento, CA. The service will begin at 10:00am. YOU ARE LOVED, SR. JEAN! ❤

Memorial donations in honor of Sr. Jean were requested by her to be sent to The Loretto Convent, P.O. Box 508, Wheaton, IL 60187.

Come to our LORETTO HIGH SCHOOL SACRAMENTO ALUMNAE REUNION on the Christian Brothers campus to celebrate those special students who were accepted with open arms to Christian Brothers High School to continue their Secondary studies after our beloved Loretto High School closed in June of 2009! CBHS is to be commended for hosting such a special event for The Loretto Community. Many of our faculty and staff were welcomed to CBHS as well and all are invited to attend! See you at CBHS on June 20th, 2015!!

As Alumnae Director, I follow the By-laws of the LHS Sacramento Alumnae Association when I proclaim that any young woman (or man, specifically graduated with the Class of 1978) who spent at least one year on our campus but left of any reason, except criminal misconduct, is considered an Alum of Loretto High School Sacramento. I hope you will consider it a personal request from me to RSVP with Joanne McShane (LHS '86) to come and honor our Alumnae who graduated from CBHS in the Forever Classes of 2010, 2011 & 2012! Our Little Sisters who intended to be in the Class of 2013 by taking the HS Placement Test on our campus in January 2009 are also included as Honorary LHS Alumnae!
