Discovery Montessori Preschool's program is designed to meet the needs of the young child in accordance with the principles established by Dr. Maria Montessori (1870-1952). She believed that a child's natural ability to learn must be cultivated in a warm and supportive environment, with touchable, entertaining educational materials, thoughtfully crafted to teach concepts. It is so comforting to read research that confirms what those of us in the field have known to be true for a very long time.

The good news is, every child is capable of learning these skills--we just have to teach them.
