Honoring the excellence of our Spring 2026 graduates🎓✨

Congratulations to our Undergraduate Dean’s Award recipient, Quinn O’Connor, an exceptional Psychology major recognized for outstanding academic achievement, faculty-mentored research on student persistence and identity, and leadership as treasurer of Psi Chi.

Congratulations as well to our Graduate Dean’s Award recipient, Houa Lee Lo, a graduate student and dietetic intern in Nutrition, Food & Dietetics, whose work advancing health equity through community nutrition education, outreach, and culturally responsive programs has impacted diverse and underserved communities.

We are also proud to recognize our student speaker, Iyoni Fowler, a Family & Consumer Sciences major, who will represent the Class of 2026 at this year’s commencement ceremony.

Professor Kim Nalder (POLS) was recently quoted in an article about a California court denying a request to halt the Riverside County Sheriff Department's effort to recount ballots from the November 2025 special election.

Court denies California's bid to halt Riverside sheriff's recount of 2025 election ballots Chad Bianco, a Republican sheriff running for governor, seized ballots for a voter fraud investigation. California is asking a court to halt the inquiry.
