The Student Association of Laboratory Scientists is an academic club that provides information about all kinds of laboratory science fields and careers to our members with emphasis, but not limited to, clinical laboratory science. We also tour various laboratory facilities and provide opportunities to our members in gaining laboratory experience as well as joining in on extracurricular activities

that involves volunteer work which helps students build a foundation of philanthropy that they can use to better themselves and their community and at the same time, strengthen their resumes. Most importantly, our club is available for students to find their inner leadership skills, create networks, and to gain a thorough understanding of what goes on in different laboratory settings which will ultimately help them choose a career that they will enjoy.

In order to keep the club active for next semester a president and treasurer must be elected AT MINIMUM. It is imperative we keep the club going to further provide students with exposure and opportunities in the lab world. Being an officer is great experience to have on your resume, you get to work with a hardworking team of passionate individuals, and also make new connections— friendly and professional!
