Jibber Jabber Fun Care

We harvested the potatoes we planted back in March today!!!!
We got 73 Yukon Gold potatoes. The kids had so much fundigging them all out of the dirt, counting them and then sorting them by size. We will replant the smallest group. We will be cooking some up for lunch soon! So much fun and a chance to learn about where their food comes from.

Easter fun 2026!

Today's invitation to create started with race car painting (we have some mega car lovers right now!) Followed by some fun shaving cream clean up. They had no idea they were helping clean all the paint off the table. 🤣

My absolute FAVORITE sensory activity! So incredibly regulating for the kids AND teachers. Oobleck is a non newtonion substance that just makes everything feel calmer, slower and less overwhelming in this big ol' world.

Gardening day! Because the Lorax taught us to plant the seeds and treat them with care. It is a small step in keeping the world a beautiful and happy place.
We planted basil, tomatoes, carrots, cilantro, bell peppers, potatoes and lemon grass. We will have fun watching it grow and enjoying it in our lunches. Plus it will be so much fun when we get to our cooking unit.

We LOVE some process art!!!! I love watching where they will take just some paint poured on the table. They all do it differently and can come and go as they please. Some will go all morning, some will pass altogether, but the creativity and imagination always make me smile! And yes, I will clean them up and wash all their clothes before pick up. 💖
