ALPHABETEX is a form of body movement trademarked by artist
Leon Willis. He uses this modality as a tool for self-expression and conflict resolution. Mr.
While artist Leon Willis was incarcerated in 1996 for vandalism, he created a form of body movement he dubbed ALPHABETEX, which combines graffiti art, martial arts, and yoga. Willis has taught yoga and mindfulness at psychiatric hospitals, non-profits, and prisons. He currently teaches for Anti-Recidivism Coalition and Yoga Moves Us.
