We are celebrating 100 years of the Elks Tower, a building that continues to shape the city’s skyline and architectural legacy. Originally brought to life through the partnership of E.C. Hemmings and Leonard Starks, the project marked the beginning of what would become Nacht & Lewis.

A century later, the Elks Tower still stands as a reminder that great design is built through collaboration, vision, and lasting relationships.

100th Anniversary of The Elk Tower As Sacramento’s Elks Tower turns 100, discover the story behind the landmark and how Nacht & Lewis’ commitment to collaboration, integrity, and thoughtful design began.

Today’s beam signing at Fern Bacon Middle School marked more than a construction milestone. Sacramento City Unified School District, students, teachers, and the project team came together to leave our mark on the school’s future!

Nacht & Lewis was proud to sponsor and attend the second annual Amador County Sheriff Foundation golf tournament in Ione last week. It was a great day on the course supporting an even greater cause!

Our team on the UC Davis Health Central Utility Plant Expansion was proud to sign the final beam alongside the rest of the project team during Thursday’s topping out ceremony. It was a great day celebrating this important milestone and the project’s continued progress!
