I had the amazing opportunity to join our amazing Superintendent Dr Rachel Monárrez, fellow trustee Vice President Andrea Yamasaki, and Principal Deanna Pelasky on the first day of school at Cambridge Elementary School, which I attended many moons ago in K-6. It’s heartfelt as my brothers and my mother also went to Cambridge. It was brand new when my mom entered kindergarten. Thank you for the tour Principal Pelasky. 🧡🍊🐾

We are OUSD! We are one of six districts in Orange County to receive this Innovative Funding Initiative. We were honored to have this amazing check for $525,000 presented to the Board of Education and our amazing Superintendent and her Executive Cabinet. Thank you OCDE! 🚌🧡🍊

Always so proud to present to Classified School Employees at our OUSD School Board Meetings. It was an honor and privilege to present to CSEA Chapter 67 President Esteban Villa and his team last Thursday night. Thank you to ALL Classified School Employees! School Bus Drivers 🚌, Food Service Staff, Maintenance, Operations, and Facilities, Information Technology, Risk Management, Purchasing and Warehouse, Payroll and Fiscal Services, Librarians, Instructional Aides, Bus Aides, Behavioral Specialist Assistants, Clerical, Secretarial and anyone else in the Classified Service. You ALL rock it on a daily basis and are very much appreciated! 🧡🍊

I was honored to ride in a horse drawn wagon with four of my colleagues on the OUSD Board of Education and our teachers and employees of the year. It was a short but sweet ride through the Orange May Parade. Thank you to the Orange International Street Fair and the Orange Chamber of Commerce for working so hard to put the parade on this year. 🧡🍊

OUSDs amazingly talented musicians put on an excellent performance last night at the OUPSF VAPA Showcase night one. Way to go elementary, middle and high school orchestra and bands! OUSD musicians rock! 🧡🍊
