At Adventure Montessori, our children explored a variety of Montessori activities designed to build independence, concentration, and a love for learning. From working with the Hundred Board and exploring fractions, to independently rolling and unrolling their mats and discovering numbers with the Wooden Board 1–1000, every activity encourages children to learn at their own pace.

This week, our children are learning all about the amazing community helpers who work hard to keep our communities safe and strong!

Today, our little learners discovered the important role of firefighters and talked about how they help people in emergencies. 👨‍🚒🧯 They then put their creativity to work by making their very own individual fire truck crafts! 🎨🚒

We love watching our children learn through hands-on experiences, creativity, and meaningful conversations. ❤️

Our little learners worked with Montessori activities like the Spindle Box, Teen Board, Hundred Board, and Bead Stair—building number sense, counting skills, concentration, coordination, and independence through hands-on learning. 🧮🧩

The children at Adventure Montessori are learning about vertebrates and how to identify animals that have backbones. For this hands-on craft, each child is creating their own animal using Q-tips to represent the backbone. Through this fun activity, the children are able to visually and creatively explore the different groups of vertebrates while reinforcing what they have learned.
