Buying a home is easy! …Said no one ever.

We have teamed up with Chase Bank to prepare our parents for home ownership. Last month’s orientation went great and now we are preparing for our next Pre-qualifying event for April.

Do you know anyone we could help? Feel free to tag them in the comments!

Let us take time to recognize, appreciate, and learn about the women that paved the way and shattered glass ceilings for the future generations.

Busy bees, busy minds 🐝

Our new colony of honey bees are working hard to build and grow their hive. Our kids will learn about pollination and honey production before eventually taking some honey home, once it’s ready to harvest!

How sweet 🍯

BEES! 🐝
The Adventures to Dreams team is in works to bring beehives to the garden! This week we are preparing the site for the bees to come and will plan a short lesson for the Adventure kids when they return to the garden on Saturday 2/5.

WHY BEES?
Bees help pollinate garden crops and flowers so we can grow more food. Pollinators like bees have an important role in sustaining life and food systems all over the world. They provide honey and beeswax, a sense of community, and are low-maintenance.

Monarch caterpillars have been spotted at the garden! It’s the perfect time to teach the kids about the butterfly life cycle. 🦋

Composting has been a main focus at the garden and it’s finally paying off! The compost is looking healthy and it’s almost ready to use. All of the clippings from pruning go into the compost bins - even the pumpkins from Halloween have turned into happy, healthy soil.

* REMINDER - volunteer day on Saturday! We will be building garden beds, planting seeds, laying floor in the greenhouse & more!

Come volunteer at our garden this Saturday, January 15th! We’re building more garden beds so our adventure kids can grow more food.
We are outside only on 10,000 square feet of land! Masks are required and lunch will be served.
