Looking forward to seeing everyone at 9am for the walk as we raise awareness and funds for the literacy crisis. We will be starting at Oak Park and walking 4 miles in Sacramento's Promise Zone.

Pre-pandemic, 51% of Sacramento County’s children could not read at grade-level. Post-pandemic, we can expect to see the literacy crisis deepen with estimated rates of 60%-70% of children not reading at grade-level.
